By now you’ve probably read a lot about Coronavirus. Heard lots of different opinions, but one thing everyone can agree on, a healthy immune system helps to defend against viruses. It’s up to interpretation, how healthy an immune system should be. So here’s a guide on how to protect against Coronavirus more efficiently by improving your immune system, naturally.
Let me tell you a few things; washing your hands won’t achieve much if you’ve been near to someone with a Coronavirus. Standing two metres apart is also not going to do much because if somebody sneezed it could spread droplets as far as 17 feet. Naturally this distance changes according to lung capacity, imagine if Hafthor Bjornsson sneezed!
Chances are, you’re probably going to get it eventually, if you haven’t already. Unless you completely isolate yourself and have enough food for up to a year, and build an underground bunker like Colin Furze. Fortunately, there are more, satisfying, productive ways of spending time to reduce the impact of Coronavirus and defend against it. After reading this guide, you’ll have some ways to boost your Immune system and feel better in general too.
That’s not to say you shouldn’t take precautions such as social distancing, use of masks, gloves and washing hands to minimise risks of contracting Coronavirus. There are other people with weaker immune systems that are more susceptible; and if things got serious it’s better to be ill when hospitals aren’t stretched.

Part 1: Corona Virus Protection Basics
Get 7 – 9 hours minimum (Age dependent) because it allows time for the body to recover. Resting during the day interrupts your internal body clock (circadian rhythms) and so if you are into power napping, try and keep the length to 20 minutes. There are different stages of sleep and it can become quite complicated to understand.
Sleep gives your brain a chance to organise your thoughts and actually helps productivity, muscle repair, and pretty much everything.
You need it for Vitamin D. To absorb Vitamin D, you need to have enough Magnesium and Vitamin K. (If I don’t get enough magnesium, I can’t wake up properly in the morning.)
You can find this in the following foods, but I recommend a supplement of at least 2200iu per day, from the end of summer until at least the end of May. Depending on your location, time spent outdoors etc, this can vary.
- Cod liver oil *
- Black beans
- Almonds, Cashews, Peanuts
Could interfere with Anti-coagulants, seek professional advice from multiple sources and list them your current medication.
- Brussel Sprouts
Bodybuilding by lifting really heavy weights for short durations, is a waste of time. You need your heart in good condition. Dynamic exercises are great, but it’s important not to temporarily deplete your immunity by completely exhausting yourself. Keep it regular and not too intensive, this helps the flow of the lymph system which also helps fight off viruses. Yoga is also quite good for this.
Reduce quantity of hard to digest foods which have a long transit time, like meat. A plant based diet is better but you can play around and balance it with what you feel comfortable. Alcohol, sugar, sweet things; avoid them completely if you can. Processed food? Cook from scratch, eat organic if you can afford. You’ll feel much better in the long run. Make sure you hydrate with some water during the day, or eat your water, eg, Cucumber, Watermelon, Celery.. all have a lot of water and are very hydrating.
Avoid Stressful situations
Listen to music or meditate. Stress can make you more susceptible to illness so think carefully about the cause and try to find a way to solve it. Remember by causing stress to others you’re harming their immunity, so think carefully about the best way to handle the situation. (The Wim Hof technique below can help combat stress)
Wim Hof Technique + Cold Showers (Absolute Must).
Wim Hof is a man that can run around in very cold places in his pants without freezing solid. No-one really knew why exactly in the beginning, other than that his breathing technique seemed to allow him to do once thought to be impossible things. Wim is able to withstand Sub Zero temperatures and has passed on the ability to others successfully.
He never gets ill; they injected him with E Coli and he fought it off in 20 minutes. Recently he has urged scientists to test his frozen blood’s immune response to Coronavirus, but as yet nobody has stepped up to the challenge.
Try doing the breathing and cold showers daily. The more you do it, the less chances you have of getting ill. Again I must say, follow Wim’s instructions carefully and take the proper precautions to stay safe.

Part 2: Going the Extra Mile
Magic Supplements to Boost Immunity
There are a variety of supplements to boost your immune system that are available online. They all do different things, but all essentially improve well being and keep you healthy. Of course it’s worth getting in contact with a nutritionist to ensure nothing interacts with medications you are already taking. Some of these, your body might not need so it’s always worth getting a second opinion from an expert before making any rash decisions.
- Vitamin C
- Olive Leaf Tea or Capsules
- Bee pollen
- Probiotics, Kefir is pretty good.
- Lemon water (Negates Acidic Body PH levels)
- Black Elderberry
At the very least, open a window or door because there are many pollutants that can harm your respiratory system. If you live near a busy road, only open windows at night (Or move). Smoke less, or not at all. If you do, definitely not indoors without at least all the windows open.
If you have a lot of computer equipment or machinery, these release Ozone into the air (toxic gas). There are solutions out there to improve air circulation in the house:
- Air Purifying Plants with Activated Charcoal filled pots. The pot is the most important part, you can either make one yourself or buy something ready made like Airy.
- HEPA Filter (Make sure no Ozone Generator)
- Open Windows
Radon gas can actually be emitted from untreated Granite Kitchen surfaces, or the ground. Or if your house is built on a giant rock of uranium, or uranium filled soil. This is extremely bad for the lungs because it’s radioactive and so air ventilation is really important to reduce risk. Here’s a geological survey of the UK to show where you’re most at risk; it’s quite surprising.
Water Filtration System
Chemical companies are keeping your water safe enough to drink and not contain super bugs that are harmful to health. But these chemicals are absorbed by your body, orally and through showers or bathing. To filter water, there are many methods – probably the best way for drinking is by distilling it or using a charcoal filter.
Eradication of Chemicals used in Daily Life
Lots of household products contain ingredients that aren’t technically safe to use, causing mild short-term to severe long-term effects. Look up the ingredients individually and check each one – and never clean without the windows open!

- Toothpaste (Oral hygiene plays a big part in immunity)
- Cleaning Solutions
- Air Fresheners
